Who we are
The “U at…” messaging service is a brand name of Unihealth, provided by Content Consultants Ltd, a company based in England (our full company registration details are at the bottom of this page). Please contact us using the details below if you have any questions on these terms or the service that we provide. All references to “us” or “we” throughout these terms is to Content Consultants Ltd.
We work with Ubisend Ltd (“Ubisend”) to provide the “U at…” service. Ubisend full company details are at the bottom of the page.
Although your university or other institution has given you access to this messaging service, it is provided entirely by us and we only ever share aggregated statistical data about the use of the service and never provide personal information about you to your university or any other third parties other than is necessary to provide the service.
Use of the service
Your use of this service is subject to these terms and if you do not agree to be legally bound by these terms please do not use the service.
We may make changes to this service, including these terms, at any time and your continued use of it shall be deemed acceptance of such changes.
The messaging service
Once you sign up to “U at …” you will receive selected messages from us through the relevant messaging service (Facebook messenger or other) you have used to sign up to “U at …”. The content of some of these messages includes content provided by or agreed by your university or other institution.
You can opt-out of the service at any time by clicking “Turn Off Messages” in Facebook Messenger settings.
We provide no guarantee that “U at…” shall be available uninterrupted or error free and reserve the right at any time to terminate the service provided to you whether as a result of our agreement with your university or other institution terminating or otherwise.
Your Personal Data
We take the protection of your personal data seriously and all information that we hold about you is processed in accordance with our Privacy Notice which can be viewed here.
Although we take great care in reviewing the information that we provide it is general guidance and information only. The information provided is not tailored to your specific needs or requirements. We do not provide medical advice or diagnostic services and do not warrant that any information provided will meet your health, medical or other requirements.

We include links to third party websites in our messages. These are provided for your convenience only. We use our reasonable endeavours to ensure that all the links are to websites from trusted sources, however we have no control over these websites and accept no legal responsibility for any content, material or information contain in them. Providing any link does not mean that we endorse that website or any products or services provided through it. Your use of such websites may be governed by the terms and conditions of that website.
Except for any legal responsibility that we cannot exclude in law (such as for death or personal injury arising from our negligence), we are not legally responsible for any losses that you may suffer from your use of “U at…”.
We do not guarantee that “U at…”, or any content provided, will be free from errors or omissions.
All intellectual property rights including copyright in messages provided by “U at…” belong exclusively to us. You may use and/or share this information freely for your own personal use but must not copy or reproduce any material provided through “U at…” without our prior written consent.

We are data controller of personal information of users of the “U at…” service; this means that we control how your personal information is used by “U at…”.
Ubisend are our data processor which means that we have a contract with Ubisend for them to store and use your personal information on our behalf. This is how we make the “U at…” system work.
Although your university or other institution has given you access to “U at…” it is provided entirely by us and we only ever share aggregated statistical data about the use of the service and never provide personal information about you to your university or any third parties other than with Ubisend or as set our below.
What this notice is about
It is important that you read this notice, so that you are aware of how and why we are using your personal information.
What information we hold about you
When you click “Get Started” to sign up to “U at…” Ubisend receives the following personal information about you from your messaging platform on the information that they hold about you, including:
• time zone
• whether or not Facebook payments are enabled (although there are no charges made to you in respect of your use of Unihealth)
• last_ad_referral (the last ad ID you clicked in the Facebook ecosystem)
Facebook sends Ubisend this information before you agree to our terms and conditions because, if they didn’t, we wouldn’t be able to make “U at…” work. The information that we receive from Facebook has either been given by you to Facebook or has been generated by Facebook based on how you interact with it. If we can’t use this information, we cannot make “U at…” work. We therefore have a legitimate interest in receiving and using your personal information so that we can sign you up to the “U at…” service in which you have expressed an interest.
When you agree to the “U at…” terms and conditions, we also ask for your consent to use your personal information for us to send you Facebook messages with wellbeing advice direct to your phone (this is what we’re all about, after all!). We then send you the “U at…” messages in accordance with your consent. You have the right to withdraw your consent to us sending you messages at any time but if you do so we can’t send you any more messages.
You can unsubscribe from “U at…” at any time by clicking “Turn Off Messages” in Facebook Messenger settings.
Once we have received notification that you have unsubscribed (or have otherwise withdrawn consent), we might still store or use your personal information if we have another legitimate reason for doing so in law. Your withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of our use of your personal information up to the time that you let us know that you have withdrawn your consent.
We also store information about the messages we have sent you whilst you subscribe to “U at…”. You wouldn’t want too much of a good thing, after all.
We do not collect “special categories” of personal information such as details of race, religious beliefs or political opinions. We also do not collect details of any criminal offences.
How we use your data
We do not use your data for any direct marketing purposes and will not provide your information to third parties other than as set out below.
Who we may share your data with
We will share “aggregated statistical data” regarding usage of “U at…” with third parties such as your university but will not provide them with any personally identifiable information about you. We might, for example, tell your university that there are 100 new users who have signed up to “U at…” in the last month of whom 59 identify as female.
We may, however, disclose your personal information to certain third parties who work with us such as:
• our agents and service providers for the purpose of making “U at…” work or so that we can take advice about “U at…” or in the course of our business
• a third party who acquires the “U at…” business
• law enforcement and regulatory agencies in connection with any investigation to help prevent unlawful activity or as otherwise required by law
- another data processor to make “U at…” work if we terminate our contract with Ubisend.
Keeping your data secure
We will use appropriate technical and organisational measures to try to safeguard your personal information from being used or accessed in an unauthorised way, altered or disclosed, for example:
• Ubisend stores your personal information on secure servers
• your personal information is encrypted in transit
• access to your personal information is limited to authenticated and approved staff
Transfer of your personal information out of the EEA
We will not transfer your personal information outside of the European Economic Area (EEA) but you should note that the provider of your messaging platform may transfer your personal information outside of the EEA and you should check their terms accordingly.
Under certain circumstances, by law, you have the right to:
- Request access to your personal information (commonly known as a “data subject access request”). This enables you to receive a copy of the personal information we hold about you and to check that we are lawfully processing it.
- Request correction of the personal information that we hold about you. This enables you to have any incomplete or inaccurate information we hold about you corrected.
- Request the erasure of your personal information. This enables you to ask us to delete or remove personal information where there is no good reason for us continuing to process it. You also have the right to ask us to stop processing personal information where we are relying on a legitimate interest and there is something about your particular situation which makes you want to object to processing on this ground.
- Request the restriction of processing of your personal information. This enables you to ask us to suspend the processing of personal information about you, for example if you want us to establish its accuracy or the reason for processing it.
- Request the transfer of your personal information to another party (in limited circumstances and where this is technically possible).

Retention of your personal data
We will retain your personal information for as long as you continue to subscribe to “U at…”. Your data will then continue to be retained for a period of up to 2 years in our archive and back-up systems. Although we think that “U at…” is really good, nobody’s perfect. Sometimes “U at…” users have complaints about our service. This means that we have to store your personal information after you stop subscribing just in case it’s necessary to deal with any complaints (or even legal claims) “U at…” users have about our service.
Changes to this policy
We may change this policy from time to time. You should check this policy frequently to ensure you are aware of the most recent version that will apply each time you use the Service.
Unihealth is an automated service and any replies to messages from Unihealth will not be read.
